Sarojini Nagar Market Part-2
Sarojini Nagar Market is one of the most popular markets in Delhi. In my previous blog 'Sarojini Nagar Market Part-1', I have given the overall view of the market. This blog is on only the clothes shopping their locations and shops in the market. This blog may not contain the particular shops but it contains the collections according to the season.
Few tips while shopping:
This is the view of lane from front side (top), and back side (bottom).
1. Always carry cash with you. Most of the shopkeepers do not accept card. The ones who have stalls accept only cash. Keep denominations of 10, 20, 50 Rupees.
2. Carry a big bag as lot of shopkeepers give plastic bags to carry.
3. Always carry a water bottle and some snacks if possible as you have to roam a lot and may need some refreshment.
4. Bargaining is an important skill that one needs to have while shopping here.
5. Monday market of Sarojini Nagar Market gets you everything at a cheaper rate com to other days.
Shopping collections:
1. Western wear : You get branded clothes from Zara, H & M, etc.
These are some of the few summer collections. The price for these ranges from Rs. 200 to Rs. 500.
Here are some long gowns. The price ranges from Rs. 200 to Rs. 500
Sweatshirts- Winter collection. The ones in the shops range from Rs. 300 to Rs. 700.
These are the ones from the shop. Price range from Rs. 200 to Rs. 700
Here are some tops, ladies formal pants.
These are some trendy tops. The price is displayed in the picture below.
These tops are fixed for Rs. 100.
These are the party wear collections and mostly during winters. The price for these ranges from Rs. 200 to Rs. 500.
2. Denims
Denim Jackets ranging from Rs. 300 to Rs. 700.
3. Winter Coats:These are few cool and trendy winter coats. They are made of good quality. Price ranges from Rs. 200 to Rs. 700
These coats have a fixed price of Rs. 200.4. Graffiti Lane: This is a lane where you can particularly find all the dresses in white. Apart from whites, you find other dresses too according to the season. It is a small lane with shops on both sides. These are not some showrooms but displayed in open.
The only thing to take to care is to check the faulty piece. You can get the tops in all sizes available.
5. Indian wear: The Indian wear includes suit materials, kurtis, lehengas, etc.
Suit materials at a range of RRs.300
Sarees
Kurtis between ranges from Rs. 200 to Rs. 500
Traditional skirts and lehengas for 'mix n match' at Rs 200
Palazzos at Rs. 150
Kurtis ranging at Rs. 200.
6. Casual T-shits for men: It is difficult to find clothes for boys and men in the Sarojini Nagar Market. But there are stall where one can t-shirts for boys.
Now some time for food.....
In my previous blog, I mentioned some fast food outlets. Well this blog contains some of them.
You can get moms at most of the eating outlets in Sarojini Nagar.
You also get street food outlets of Chole Kulcha, Bread Pakoras, Kachori, etc.
